Is anyone familiar with the new adult clinic in Tacoma Washington?

Hi! I am 22 and moved to Washington state in February. Up until now I have been going up to Seattle for CF care, and it is over an hour and a half from where I'm living. Does anyone know much about tacoma's new adult clinic out of st. Mary's children's hospital in Tacoma? Any info about the clinic and the docs there would be wonderful! Thanks!!

Who is the doctor? If it is Dr. Larson... He is awesome! I believe I was his first CF patient in 1980... He diagnosed me when others turned me away saying I was okay. He has a special place in my heart.

One of the doctors is indeed Dr. Larson. It is soo good to hear that he is a great dr. Do you know if he takes a more pro-active view on treatment of CF? Right now with Seattle, i'm having difficulty because they are not pro active with treating before i become really sick. My Florida CF docs were, and i was hoping he would be because he does pediatric and adult.

Have you ever been to the clinic? Is it run well? Is the coordinator good?
