rash from Enzymes?

My daughter has had a rash on her genital area on and off for awhile. At one point it was strep but the last couple of cultures have been clean. It looks like it is being caused by urine, doesn't look like yeast. At clinic last week I mentioned it to her Dr and she thought 1 cause may be enzymes, has anyone had a similar problem?
Her pediatrician was stumped, she has us applying lotramin and an antibiotic ointment a few times a day it seems a little better but is still red.
Thanks for any advice.

DS had issues when he was a baby prior to being potty trained and it occurred if we didn't get his diapers changed fast enough. We were warned by some of the nurses in the NICU that sometimes the enzyme beads wouldn't quite digest, so it's make his stools harsher. So we used a balm specifically for adults with incontinence issues, was similar to butt paste, but much thicker and would only come off when we bathed him. Formed a protective barrier. Was called criticaid and was made by sween I believe.
