Oh no Wanderlost, I did not think you were commenting on my parenting style. Thank you for posting another parenting style option! It is great to put other ideas out there because knowledge is POWER!
Take care,
Anne

Know that you don't have to do ONE form of parenting either. You take what works for you, your baby, and your family. We did a lot fo 'crunchy ' things... cloth diapering, made our baby food, Ry wore her in a sling for quite a long time, etc. But cosleeping wasn't for us. We kept her in our room for a while, but not our bed. So don't feel that by sampling different parenting styles, you have to accept all of one, none of the others...explore all, and take what works for you and your family.

Oh wow thanks so much for all the replies, I don't know why my email didn't tell me about them! I really appreciate all the input. Funny I had already taken some of it without having read it!

I made a checklist for the week that has my treatments as well as a few baby necessities that need to get done (like massaging that clogged tear duct) and I have been checking them off--thanks Anne!

And I have been doing alot of sling time also which helps me get things around house done so thanks Wanderlost!

I have briefly looked at items from both parenting styles mentioned and as Allie mentioned I think a mixture will work best for us ( I started out in cloth diapers also but it wasnt' working out for us, long story so regretfully we have switched). I also work full time so we can't be too rigid with what we do.

I am doing better this week with getting my therapies done and have been doing vest 1x day with something else also. Unfortunately I have also taken a health blow this week as I think that I have crossed the line from borderline diabetic to diabetic or perhaps just a bit closer. I was borderline before pregnancy then of course with pregnancy I had borderline gestational diabetes from 11 weeks on. I felt my eyes a bit blurry a couple times and got feeling weird so I took my blood sugar and it was 185, that is the highest it has ever been to my knowledge. I have to call center today and see if they want me to do that nasty 3 hour test or what.
