Bleeding on Cayston

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced mild hemoptysis (bleeding) while on cayston. Do you just deal with it? Did your doctor determine that it should be stopped? Any theory as to why it causes bleeding?
i seem to always have some type of streaking associated with cayston. Is it just loosening up so much mucus that its irritating airways? I'm wondering if its really necessary to stop at this point. We always run from bleeding of any kind, but as long as it doesn't progress to heavy hemoptysis, is it worth losing this valuable drug.

Hi there,

I had my first episode of hemoptysis when I finished my second round of Cayston. I am unsure yet if it had anything to do with the Cayston, but that is where I was in my Cayston cycle when I had my bleed. It ended up only being a couple teaspoons, but still freaked me out! I have not had any bleeding since then (not even streaking) and I've been on Cayston for over a year now, so not sure if it had anything to do with it or not.
