Yep, I harbor no bad feelings. Hopefully everyone can contribute in some significant way.

Well, twistofchaos, if this were your brain child then you could be the one to direct the pace at which it progresses.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I think you're being a little inconsiderate by giving people a hard time for not doing things according to YOUR schedule. Especially when it wasn't your idea initially! :X</end quote></div>

Ah I see, an ego thing. In that case, goodluck with it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Perhaps a better way for twisted to provide encouragement for people to record is to write instructions on how the typical person could record sounds for you all. </end quote></div>

Right. I don't think you've read the previous topic on this very well, you must of skipped over me giving all sorts of pointers on this. (but no response or questions from the "typical person") Happens. (And well, since it's freeware software I pointed to there's literally tons of information, forums and help on them written far better than I could. At some point people are going to have to invest some effort and do something. Or not. (And as pointed out above, it wouldn't be my place to take people by the hand, they'd REALLY feel rushed then!) ) Talk is cheap.

"Ego thing"? That's totally not how it is. I want as many people to participate in this as possible. It's rather obnoxious of you to say it's an "ego thing" when you're the one giving people a hard time because they're not doing things according to <b>your</b> schedule. Had this been something you initiated, it would be your place to say such things. As a GROUP PROJECT, we have to work according to a GROUP schedule. Things may not have happened as quickly as you wanted, but we're in a better position than we were before. Havoc and I have been discussing ideas and he's been making samples. I have to get a microphone and then things will really start to roll. If you don't want to participate because of such a trivial issue, it's your decision. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Also, in response to your reply to LouLou, it would take months for someone to properly learn how to use music creation programs like the one's you recommended. This doesn't apply to making samples, but to make a good sample a high quality mic is needed and you have to take into consideration the financial situation of other people who may contribute. Suffice to say, you have made some very inconsiderate and inappropriate comments. Starting this whole argument has done nothing but put more of a strain on the project. If this is how you planned to conduct yourself throughout the project, with complete inconsideration for other people's lives, it is probably best that you don't participate.

If we use one of the samples you made already, we'll be sure to credit you.

Seriously, who the hell do you think you're bulls***ng? Your responses alone are exactly as I expected them. (Well, even worse actually.)

Also don't usually mind a little fun but I'm actually going to behave on this forum I guess, and not bite.

Furthermore I'm a nerd, I've actually done stuff in teams and see how they work, and how they don't.

And indeed not with me, I'm not the kind of person that manouvres around people's ego's, I barge right through, especially when they consist of nothing but hot air. Life's too short for that you know.

[edit] haha, you posted another followup. Lemme see. Yes indeed dude, it takes Months, years to learn, maybe never! Yes literally perfect quality samples are needed, in the noise of a full mixed and effected up track it's what you'll notice first. Yes we need professional quality mics, I think everyone should rent a studio just for the acoustics. We don't want our nebulizers to echo off the walls like mad! Dude, drop the BS.
