Clinical Trials

when i was younger, i remember doing various "studies" and getting paid $20 for my "expenses"

i'm doing my first real clinical trial for aspergillus, treated with itraconazole. i meet with the team once a month and at each visit i'm given $50, once again for my "expenses". im not sure who funds it, but it was organized through my clinic. i'm also in canada, so maybe we have laws against drug companies paying people for clinical trials, etc.

really interesting question though

Hi there!

I'd say that ashleydog is correct. It makes sense that the gazillion dollar drug companies would have a bigger budget to cover clinical trial compensations. That is is of course, unless there are laws against it.
