Dangers of hospital mouthwash

A while back I was admitted to the hospital and they provided complimentary mouth wash in a small bottle. When I looked at the back of the small bottle it had a warning that said; "this product is not intended for use in Cystic Fibrosis Patients"

I remembered an article where they found B. Cepacia in some hospital mouthwashes. I alerted the head nurse and she was shocked to see the warning on the back of the bottle and she alerted the administrative staff immediately.

So, if you find yourself in the hospital and they give you mouthwash please read the label. Better yet, just throw it away. Here is a recent article about B Cepacia in hospital mouthwashes: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.medpagetoday.com/ProductAlert/OTC/9377

Thanks for sharing this.
I bring all my own stuff & don't use anything they provide there.
