Did your parents do anything special after CF Checkups?

My husband and I are thinking of doing something special on the days that Emma has to go to the CF clinic.

Something like:
Make it a family day and take her out for a special lunch afterwards.

Did you do something special with your parents on Clinic Day? If yes, what?

I did take Chey to lunch and then to Toys R Us, then she started going two to three times a month, so that got really expensive, really fast. Now we save that trip for the appointment(s) where they do all the bloodwork and stuff.

Now, after her appointments, we go to McDonald's. That is nothing special to me, but to her it is. The town we live in doesnt have one, so that is a special treat to her.

Oh yes! After our day at Hopkins I got to pick where I wanted to get something to eat. It was so special, and I definitely looked forward to it!
