are you using straight up TOBI sally? or is foundation care mixing it for u?

the only published studies that i've seen, as you've seen in my blog, are of tobra. i have no idea what dose should be used of TOBI as concentration can vary.

eFlow was not specifically designed for TOBI at all. it was designed for all medication use.

aztreonam is the first medication coming to the market using the eflow in Phase III clinical trials. all other CF meds have come to market using PARI ProNeb Ultra/LC Plus, etc.

But as you know, the eFlow is FDA approved since 2004 to be used in CF patients with any FDA approved medication (if you have a medication in your hands, it's FDA approved.... or it's in clinical studies).

Thanks for the info Amy. I hadn't been able to get your eflow posts to come up, but did just now - i'll go read them. Seems you have a lot of pics on there which takes time for my dial up to load. grrrr OK, I am guessing the Tobi is a mixture by the Foundation, since that is who I'm getting it from. This is all new to me. It's says "Tobi" on it, so I'm not exactly sure, but it comes in a Foundation Care box. I'll call them and find out.
