Eflow

I have a Pari Eflow as part of the AZLI study. I have already contacted my center....so they will call back soon. I just wondered if anyone has had this happen or has any suggestions.I am in a study so the eflow service dept. said they can't answer any of my questions

Here's what it is doing. It shut off about halfway through a treatment today. Gave me the thumbs up picture and then just turned off. I saw that the battery light was on even though I had it plugged in so I made sure it was plugged in right. I even changed the batteries. Now it won't even turn on and stay on. It will turn on for a second but blinks right off. I even tried it with another eflow set. ANY suggestions?

My ideas:

1) Power, we've had trouble with the plug. Try this: flip open the battery cover, and then plug in (lets you get the plug in a bit farther, sometimes works.

2) Connections: if you are using the extension cordy thingy check where it plugs into the base & the e-flow. The prongs on the base sometimes stick in (we had to have one replaced due to this).

3) Head: are you getting a good stream of meds when you use? If not the head might be clogged and causing some sort of error. Try cleaning with alcohol and see if it helps.

Hope one of these works for you

Ok, just noticed you mentioned a picture and looked at Pari's site.

Apparently we have the 'old' eflow, didn't realize there had already been a redesign.

So if my instructions don't make sense, ignore them.

I had a defective eFlow machine when I got my first one. It just wouldn't turn on and stay on. I had to return it for a new one.
