energy

I find that I don' t have the energy when it comes to exercise. I am always hungry! I can't eat before exercising because I will cough and it will all come back up, but if I don't I won't have the energy to make it an efficient workout. I probably don't eat well but how do I fix this. What do you all do for energy, and really how do you get out of bed in the morning to work out?

I was told to have a small fruit or a piece of toast or something small before excersice. Then have your meal or whatever afterwords. It helps with nausea and getting your metabolisem working. As far as energy I started out at 15 minutes or whatever I felt I could do then built it up 2-5min each day, as much as I could tolerate. Now I'm up to an hour and walk 2 1/4 miles a day on my treadmill. After a week or so I wanted to work out because when I didn't I felt guilty, and I wanted to sleep half way throught he day. I also take a multi B vitamin, vitamin C along with my ADEKS. But ask your dr first. You don't want too much vitamins. Take care.

I rely on choosing something that I really enjoy doing to motivate, (ie. energize), myself. The drudgery of exercise equipment or a gymnasium, for me, aren't worth getting out of bed for. The pleasure of fresh snow for boarding or skiing in the winter or a dry sunny day for biking or roller blading, for instance, can get me out of bed without fail. Having a partner to "play" with is very helpful. And, with small reservation, I will add that when all else fails, caffeine can provide me with a kick start to get out and work my lungs. When inclimate weather forces me indoors, I do employ a stationary bike, but I try to time my use with a television program that I would otherwise stare at while sitting sedentarily on the couch. Perhaps the "spoonful of sugar helping the medicine to go down" is the best way I can think to describe my approach.

You take your pills for digestion and eat someyhing heathy like an apple or toast or even a glass of orange juice etc...So that way it will digest in the time it takes the fruit or whatever you should strech and do warm-ups so your whole body don't hurt.
