I don't have CF, but I was hoping someone could help me. I have pseudomonas and chronic infections and I get run down very, very easily. I have found lately that i can't stand long because I get these horrible aches in my right lung (main source of infection) I'm really trying not to sound whiney but this is so bad it hurt while standing baking cookies last night! I am going to see a pulmonologist, but currently lacking insurance is making it very tough.

Anyone else get these aches in there lungs from standing too long? it's almost as if someone is squeezing and ringing my lung out. I can't stand it! It's not the point I need pain meds(won't take them anyway) just enough to force me to sit down <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

This doesn't happen to me. But I do have a worse lung, like you.
Is this a new thing for you? If so, maybe you need more mucus clearance and antibiotics. When I was sicker my lower left lobe seemed to ache all the time, even when the mucus was clear.

Right now, I don't feel that rattle in there, even though I am coughing foul-tasting green stuff. I am pretty sure the source is upper respiratory/sinus, so I am crossing my fingers that the lower respiratory area stays clear.

Did you see my asymmetrical chest post? Do you have that?

Yes, this happens to me as well, I started using a pain patch but can't remember the name right night it's a slow release patch I am going to guess the name Loiderm? something like that I have it upstairs, I'll write it correctly late, but it works great for me. My right lung is extremely bad. Pat-55/CF

I'm scared to do anything such as pain pills or patches.
