For Christmas yesterday, I got a set of wireless headphones that connect to the TV. Now I can actually hear the TV while I do myVest treatment without having to blast the volume on the TV. Nor do I have to use the closed-caption feature on the TV. Although I did get used to reading and watching at the same time.

That's a great idea. Good for DD as well as the rest of the family. When I'm upstairs and she's doing her vest downstairs, the television is crazy loud!! Go downstairs and it doesn't seem as loud though it's the same volume!

Ha so true... we gave my 12 year old daughter with CF a pair for Christmas too... mainly because we are all going deaf with the volume the TV has to be when she does her treatments... but she loves the new headphones. She loves that she can also listen to the radio on them, and she has been using them often, even while not on her treatments, so I agree, GREAT gift for CFers
