Gravey and the hurricane...

Gravey called me to let those of you who aren't on facebook know that he is ok, and that he has no electricity. He is at his Mom's, and took a picture of the 40ft. pine tree that is currently resting on his stepdad's Lexius...He posted the picture on his facebook page: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.facebook.com/graves.../graves.garner?ref=ts">http://www.facebook.com/graves.../graves.garner?ref=ts</a>


Graves says this is more damage than the Hurricane Gloria in 1985! He's calling it a winter hurricane--the hurricane with no name!

Just thought I'd let those of you know what's up with our Gravey..hopefully he will be back online soon--he says he has lots of pictures to post!

I couldn't believe the size of that tree when I saw it this morning on FB. Hope he gets the electricity back on soon.

This storm was awful! My dh was working last night- fortunately not on the shoreline- but even 50 miles inland the winds were so strong he had a hard time even opening his car door against the winds and he looked like a drowned rat when he got home. Cars were having a hard time staying on the road between how much water was on the roadways and the high wind. We'd have been buried if it was cold enough for snow! There was someone killed last night in CT when a tree fell on their car while driving- thank God his mom was safe inside when that tree fell. I hope his power is back soon!
