The Kevin A Przybyl Breathe Easy Foundation is proud to announce our partnership with the Florida Hospital Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacy of Florida to remodel 2 adult patients CF rooms at Winter Park Hospital.
Winter Park Hospital is the primary care location for over 100 CF patients in Central Florida. As wonderful as the care is, the hospital has around since 1955 and is in need of major upgrades. The hospital is working hard to complete these goals but the CF wing is a few years away from those major upgrades. We all know how many weeks a year a patient may have to stay at this hospital and its tough...so we will be repainting these rooms, adding a sofa chair in each room for a family member to stay at night, adding 32 inch flat screens, and artwork to make the room feel like a home and not a hospital. We will also be visiting patients on a weekly basis and providing them with some snacks. Patients that have laptops will also get access to netflix free through the Breathe Easy Foundation/
These changes should be completed withing the next two months and is the first major step towards improving lives of CF patients in Florida, and a hopefully a start of something on a national level.
Words can not explain how happy we are to have the Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacy backing this project as well/ They will be matching our funding to allow us to remodel these two rooms instead of just one. We hope to eventually have 5 to 6 rooms completed to handle all the patients that are treated there each week.

We are all volunteers so nearly every cent goes directly to helping patients with Cystic Fibrosis !!!!
