Don't know if anyone's tried it, but Carnation Instant Breakfast
makes a 560 cal 8oz drink. It's called Carnation Instant Breakfast
VHC. I drink it in vanilla. It's great for those of us who aren't
crazy about Scandishake. It runs $35. a case of 24. Oh, and it
tastes pretty good, better than Ensure, but thicker.

Yes, you can, Seana, it's really easy to get, Ry liked it too. Try sprinkling it on top of ice cream like malt too, it adds calories.

No, I order it over the phone. I can give you the details if you
can't find it, but try a google search for Carnation Instand
Breakfast VHC. They are very good about delivery. I usually get it
in two to three days.

I think some of you guys are talking about regular Carnation
Instant Breafast.
I'm talking about VHC, which stand for Very High Calorie. The ones
you find in the store usually have less than 250 cal. CIB VHC is
not in a powder it comes in a can sort of like the old ensure cans.
Below is the link. If you can get it in the grocery store, I didn't
know about it.
I haven't been able to find VHC in stores. Where have you seen it beside Costco?

BTW, you can (or could, anyway) send away for a free case every time you fill a Creon script. Not a bad deal.

jfarel,

Where are you ordering it online for $35. I just went to the site that you put up and it says for 24 drinks plus shipping and handling it is $60. That is a little steep for me!

Found this for VHC at a cheaper price, buy multiple cases and save on shipping as well.

I used these Carnation Drinks for my son who is 23 months old. I
mixed them with his milk to keep the weight on. We just went to see
Dr Warwick in Minnesota and he told me Aidan was overweight! So I
have stopped using them. They are great to increase calories but
have tons of sugar! Megan

No more sugar than scandi or any other high cal drink. They are not
as sweet as boost or ensure.
