hypertonic saline Can you feel it?/

my daughter has been on this for about 2 weeks and says that it seems to make her lungs feel "sore" does that make sense ?

HTS is harsh and can cause soreness. That makes sense.

It is harsh, but I kinda think you get used to it. I happen to think it is the cheapest med that packs the biggest punch ! If it seems to strong , then maybe you could ask the Drs. to lower the strength.. I started w/ 3% & am now using 7% , I know there are even higher percentages.

When I started it, I think I remember that happening to me as well. It gets better! And if it doesn't like Joni said use a lower %.

Rain is 16. The side effects arent bad enough for her to stop it I dont think, it does help to know that others had the same reaction at the start. she is doing 4% right now. thanks so much
