Thanks for the input! indeed.com actually has a lot of good posting.

Right now I'm working a fleet dept/vehicle aquisition - managing 26 drivers, coordinating arrival of new cars, transportation of sold cars, purchasign cars, etc.

I'm kinda hoping to move into an HR position, or maybe a fleet position with another company (probably not likely though).

thanks again! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hi Debra,

I want to share my experience of job hunting because I thought you would like to hear how I had found a new job, since being a foreigner in a foreign company makes the task twice as difficult.

The first thing I did is what you have done, I went to some head-hunting or classified sites for searches. I also went to usa.gov for government related jobs, since they have very good benefits.

The final, and probably most important thing I did was do a self-evaluation on what I wanted to do, what were my strong and weak points and followed it with where I wanted to work.

One job I found was by a classified site but this recent one was a job I found on my own by making a phone call.

Though I think building your resume is one key to finding a job. Employers in general like to look at a minimum of two pages for a resume and not have to read a whole lot.

Also, I think your self-confidence grows more when its a job in a company you really want to work in and so by doing some research as to the companies you have in mind, that would help prepare you by you knowing more about that company.

Though this method is not a 100% guarantee but I did find it very helpful in my experience and research while finding a job.

Good Luck and I do hope your next job is really more of a "hobby-like" atmosphere than a "job" atmosphere!
