I need workout song suggestions

I'm not a fan of Backstreet Boys type stuff, but when I used to go to the gym, I had a lot of that, because it had an easy beat to keep up with. N'sync, all that crap. One of my favorites (beat-wise) was Backstreet Boys' "It's Gotta Be You." The tempo was perfect, for some reason.

Another bunch of stuff that's good for that type of activity is all my punky stuff, like...
30 Seconds From Mars (songs: The Kill, From Yesterday)
Cruiserweight (album: Sweet Weaponry)
Fall Out Boy (any album [Take This to Your Grave, From Under the Cork Tree], but their new one, Infinity on High, is FANTASTIC)
Halifax (album: A Writer's Reference, Inevitability of a Strange World)
Jimmy Eat World (album: Bleed American, Futures)
Over It (album: Silverstrand)
Panic! At the Disco (album: A Fever You Can't Sweat Out)

I also happen to like Breaking Benjamin (album: Phobia). Linkin Park has always been good for me too (album: Hybrid Theory, Meteora).

That should hold you for a little while, assuming you don't hate all of it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

If you happen to be pumping iron, Metallica would be one source to listen to.

If you happen to be doing something like aerobics, where you need (or want) a beat to keep up to, 80's music would have that...i.e., songs from the "Footloose" album, or "Rocky 5", or somewhere along the lines of early Michael Jackson (Thriller Album) are just some suggestions..

I know there's an age gap, but I hope you caught onto the suggestion.

Hip hop gets your happy ass moving.

I listen to a mix of things, but Fall out Boy, Bright eyes, pretty much anything

Ry used to listen to techno, only when he worked out, because it made him bust hump without really realizing it.

I always turn to metal, mostly old stuff. Quiet Riot's "Bang your head" always gets me started on a slow morning. When I really need a pick me up I will go to hate metal...Marilyn Manson(you can never go wrong with Manson!)Here are a few more of my workout groups...AC/DC, Metallica, System of a down, Linkin Park, Union Underground.

At times I will listen to other genres of music but metal always seem to help me push through

Hmmm...I like Goldfinger, Beastie Boys, Aerosmith and Garbage when I work out. Anything recorded live is good for a workout...I dig the cheering and applause!

I definitely like the idea of 80's music...I like Springsteen too...any of his old stuff, not the newer stuff.
