Oh, I get to be on Coumadin for 3 mos! I guess they want to make sure that the blood clot in my first PICC line arm is gone. I then have a repeat doppler scan to make sure the clot is gone and if so, I can quit the Coumadin.

I had to do Lovenox again for a boost because my blood was too thick when we checked early this week. I'm done with the injections now & I think we got the Coumadin levels figured our FINALLY!!

I didnt know how to start a new topic, but i really need advice. my friend has CF and Thursday afternoon while we were at school, he went Catatonic. He's been in the hospital since then and they dont know whats wrong.
He was given a cortisone shot on Wednesday that cause him to pass out twice, and he's been under a huge amount of stress from work, school, and health problems. He has a cold, and they just switched him to a new antibiotic drip that is used for a wide variety of infections, which means they dont know what is wrong.
I'm really scared, he's stressed and scared, and he wants to take time apart so he doesn't break under the pressure and lash out at me.

my question is, how can i find out what is wrong with him, or find a doctor that can help? right now he's at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air Maryland, and if they cant find out whats wrong they're going to transfer him to Johns Hopkins.
