I am so sorry you guys are going through all this right now....it is tough during the Christmas season. Malora, I'm real sorry you have to do the night feeds, hopefully you will see some improvement with your weight very quickly<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">. Just got this pm from Cheryl, please keep them in your prayers and thoughts, and we hope they all are home for Christmas!

Dec. 15th
Good Morning Terri! Malora is still in the hospital. Her levels are still low, potassium, Vit. D, calcium and God only knows what else. She still has her PICC line with the antibiotics they are giving her, CPT x2 and the vest x1. She is getting feeds at night and they are having her eat every 2 hours and still hasn't put the weight back on. Iam trying to get all of them together in teh room at the same time to talk about what is going on and how to get her home. Christmas is in 10 days.

New pm--<i>They did the rounds and decided that all of the teams will have a meeting. They also want Malora's primary care doctor to be at Children's and not where she goes now.
They said someone needs to be incharge and keep all the doctors on the same page. She is'nt gaining the weight like they expected. They keep telling us how urgent this is. All this happened because her sinuses got infected back to back and it moved to her lungs. Alos, can you tahnk everyone for me. It is so nice to have the support of this community</i>.

Back in the hospital for yet another tune up. Andrew's kind of bummed. You never really know how much you miss home until you've been gone for a while. He doesn't have much to do an epecially being a teenager that makes it worse. He is doing well in school. He gets homeschooled.

The CF walk is coming up on March 28th. Tucson has the perfect weather for it. I hope we're up for it.

In January, he was hospitalized but was discharged 2 weeks later only to return again in February. It looks it may be a longer stay this time .......we'll see! Wish us luck.
