My son has i507 and 1154insTC and our genetic counselor told us the I507 and F508 mutations have similar but not identical effects on the protein. The currently known correctors have a little less effect on 507 than 508 but it is hoped that as better correctors are developed they would act on 507 as well. I'm interested to see if other people respond to your post with new information.
