I can verify that it has worked for me for almost 20 years, thank G-d. Also makes sense because they use water IVs to help pass the stone(s) if you are admitted to a hospital. I was told they use IVs because they can infuse more water than you can comfortably drink.

The water is also useful to keep mucus thinner.

My doctors told me to drink at least 3L of water per day. Part of that is because my creatinine was much too high, but that seems to have resolved itself now.

Yeah yeah... this source also says that water can help treating kidney infection https://authorityremedies.com/home-remedies-for-kidney-infection/

The most recommended method and top tip from the list of home remedies for kidney infection is increasing the intake of fluid. Doing so will enable you to improve the healing as it can remove the bacteria, toxic and waste products out of the kidneys, thus maintain the healthiness and cleanliness. Therefore, water is also one of the simplest home remedies for stone in kidney.

Good luck to you!
