Oh, man!! I enjoyed reading her blogs (on blogspot) and her posts here. She had a way with words-- such a gift.

I'm so sorry to hear this... I was just reading back through some pm's that Lauren had sent me when I was having a very hard time dealing with my daughter's health problems and her lack of compliance. Lauren was so kind and considerate and so very caring... and she had such a way with words. Her pm's meant so much to me. She will definitely be missed.

After 29 years of battling CF, Lauren passed away yesterday afternoon (November 3).

She was a strong woman who, unfortunately, lived in a weak body.
