It is imperative that adult patients and parents or gaurdians of cf children are made aware of the scam known as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This also includes Scamdipharm. If you would appreciate further information on this, you may feel free to contact me at 830-214-5088 or Familynumberone@aol.com.</end quote></div>

What on earth does this mean?

I have two questions about LDS or Mormans:

1.) Are they one in the same?

2.) Do they celebrate holidays such as Christmas, Easter, etc... and what about birthdays?

I ask because my brother married a morman and I don't know much about the religion. I'm not sure how to handle things such as holidays. I don't know if Mormans consider themselves Christians or not and whether they celebrate Christian holidays.

Thanks for any answers.</end quote></div>

Here I am sitting on my computer trying to find out more about CF and on this CF forum I stump over this thread about Mormons.
How very strange for me that the questions are asked in this forum and not on any of the LDS related forums online. Makes me giggle.. sorry.

well.. here is a few possible places to ask questions about Mormons and get Mormons to answer them for you.

Isn't it true that anyone who chooses to leave the mormon church is shunned by everyone, including their family? Does that strike anybody else as the antithesis of christian behavior?

Havoc - in answer to your question - no. That is not a belief or doctrine of our church. I think your thinking along the lines of the Amish. There are instances of that in our church, though I know of the same with Catholics, Muslims, and just about every religion. I have family members who have left the church and it hasn't changed our feelings or love for them. We still get together at family functions, we still love them the same.
