Trying to find out from everyone, who has a gtube, if they are experiencing persistent nausea & vomitting after night feeds.

My daughter is 14 & had the tube for about 5 years, but having worsening nausea & vomitting so much she's too sick for school.

We tried different formulas, different types of meds (acid reducers), anti nausea meds, and tried to readjust the flow for her feeds. She's can't handle anything more than a rate of 45 right now.

Wondered if anyone had any special remedies or suggestions to help us get her through this.

Is she having sudden pain with the nausea and vomiting? How is her "output". Has anything changed with medication such as taking azithromycin, which can cause stomach upset.

She's on the same meds, been off pains meds about a month since having back surgery in July. Normal daily stools, plus she takes Miralax to help keep things moving along. She's just always always has the full feeling in the am, & some days are worse than others. She has stomach pains sometimes.

Prior to DS' obstruction a couple years ago he have issues with fullness even after only taking a bite or two and if he ate really well, he'd suddenly have pain, vomit and would feel fine.
