The Kevin A Przybyl Breathe Easy Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit, run by several CF patients and those with family members with CF. We are all passionate about the disease but more importantly helping patients. Times are tough for everyone especially those with CF and we are here to help.
Our foundation was established in May 2010 and have had several great accomplishments. Our mission is simple, to provide patients with financial, emotional, and physical support. This foundation is run 100% by volunteers, so almost every cent will be used to help CF patients adult and children throughout the United States.
How we distribute funds: We will provide our financial assistance directly to your pharmacy, doctor or hospital. This ensures the money is being used for its purpose.

Once submitted you application will be reviewed and you will be added to our assistance list. We are accepting applications now and hope to start helping patients by this summmer.
Things we are working on.... The foundation is in the process of working with a local food bank to provide Florida patients with Food. This program and partnership will allow us to purchase food to give directly to patients on a monthly basis. For every dollar we provide the food bank can purchase $9 worth of groceries. This will help many patients get the proper nutrition that need but just can't afford. Most adults with CF need at least 4500 calories per day, that averages near $1,000 of groceries per month for an average size family. We hope to have this program up and running by June 2011.
We are also working on several national fundraising campaigns and applying for large grants all to help patients.
Research is important but it doesnt mean much when patients can afford the medications or other treatments to stay healthy.
