Good for you!!! Its wonderful that you are discovering the music from MY generation. When I was your age (when these groups were "new") it was more affordable to go to concerts, so I saw The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, ... and many many others. I never saw Queen but I wish I had ... amazing music! There is nothing like the excitement of a live concert. I recently found my Rolling Stones Concert Stub from the late 1960s and it cost me $6 to see them (of course, wages were only about $1 an hour back then so $6 was almost a full days work!!! LOL). Those were the days. There is lots more great music from the 60s and 70s to be discovered. Keep listening and enjoy.

You got to see The Beatles and Pink Floyd? I hate that I was born in the '90s! I want to go see Roger Waters do The Wall live so badly but I have no one to go with me. Two radio stations are helping me discover so much good music from the '60s, '70s and '90s. I love discovering something new every day!

It's all good!
Been listening to 'Floyd since I was in my early teens.
When I was younger (& lots more dumb) my friends & I imbibed in a lot of 'herbal remedies' while enjoying 'Floyd. I would not reccomend that with our health problems.
I would however, highly reccomend you explore all the music Pink Floyd put out through the years.

IVWinchester79,
I skipped around on the years for Bowie, but went in release date order for QUEEN.
I just finished QUEEN. Here is my link below. I just LOVE Freddie Mercury! Epic stuff!

I agree with you about Pink Floyd being Mozart 100 years from now. They have an album or song for every mood. My favorite album is The Wall.

I love you all! Pink Floyd, my all time favourite band! I believe that Dark Side if the Moon is the all time biggest seller - think this is world wide...and was voted album of the century (not sure who by!).
