Hi Everyone,

As we mentioned before we are currently working on a re-design of the CysticFibrosis.com website. Another new feature we're adding to the website is something called "Share your stories" where people with CF can share stories they've written. The stories do not have to be about CF, they can be, but its not required.

Your story may include your name, e-mail & website if you wish. If you currently have a website this will draw many visitors to it.

If you would like to have your story published on CysticFibrosis.com you can e-mail it to cfadmin@medrise.com.

Thanks

Sounds good.

The only question is, if it's (the stories) good enough worth publishing, what's going to be suggested about that? Also, what kind of protection is there against Plagerism?

Also, are these stories biographical, autobigraphical, fictious, non-fictious? (Obviously, some personal stories cannot be plagerised, but some stories may be susceptible to it)

In addition, since it would be most advantagious for the stories to first be written on a word processor, will the same problem occour in downloading, etc., as the problem mentioned in the previous topic "Quotes, apostrophies and question marks (A Bug??)" has been doing?

Also, is there a solution to the problem from the topic related to the problem of pasting text from a word processor (such as Microsoft Word) to the forum being solved?

Thanks for your reply, in advance.

The stories can be anything you've written, biographies, auto biographies, fiction, non-fiction, poems. If you are worried about the material being plagiarized then its best not to submit the information, there is no way to protect against plagiarism on the internet.

As far as the word processing problem we have not heard back from the software vendor on a fix for the issue.

Thank you for the reply, and the caution. I'll select my stories based on that information.

As for the word proc. problem, hope something regarding that reply comes up.
