I say let him eat what he wants and always have extra snacks in the house he really likes and can grab them when he wants them he is 15 and although you want to feed him healthy he may feel can you just let me eat what I want? Just a thought? Pat-59/CF

When I was a child my Mom fed 7 kids & worked a full-time job outside the home. She really didn't have time to separately cook for one child with CF.
If I didn't like what was being fed for supper, I didn't eat.
I'm glad it was done like that.
I think it made me realize that no one was going to coddle me outside the home because I have CF.
In fact, I found out that outside my family, no one really cared that I have CF.
Now, my lovely Wife feeds me according to what I can or can't eat.
For that, (& for many, many other reasons) I'm eternally grateful.
