Has anyone used one of those small indoor trampolines? I'm considering getting one to be part of my exercise routine, but am afraid I'll only use it for a week and then shove it in the closet. If you do use it, do you notice more coughing/sputum? I also live in an apartment, so I'm not sure how smart it is to use this in my living room.

I have a stepper that I use sometimes, but my legs wear out before I can really get my lungs worked out, so I was hoping to find something that involved more action while watching tv and staying warm (inside) during the winter.

Dont own one of them, but have used them & loved it. I also used the big, outdoor ones that kids love. That is one hell of a work out let me tell you. My BIG problem with the outdoor one is that I pee my pants EVERY SINGLE time even if I go to the bathroom before getting on. Well I guess that is too much info. Back to the little one. Like anything that works your legs.....unless your legs are in shape & can handle it its hard to get a good enough work out for your lungs. If you are worried about the investment then work on your stepper a bit harder holding weights or cans of cream soup. Good Luck!

Santa is getting Reilly one for Christmas. I thought it would be great excerise for her lungs, and something to get ALL of that energy out! I will let you know how it works out.

Hi,

in Germany the trampolins are quite common in cf-therapy, especially for kids, they love it.

I'm having a hard time finding the little (1 person) trampolines. Anybody see them lately? I know I've seen them before in the exercise isle of department stores (Target, Shopko..). Anyone know a good excercise store I could look at?

I got one for Cale last year at Walmart...online. I imagine they would have them in the store. If all else fails, ask them to order you one in. He enjoyed it, but was too little for it at the time. I held his hands and jumped with him. Guess it is time to get it out of the storage room and try it again.

We're planning on a big one for the yard this Spring. Grandparents told us they were getting it for Christmas, but then backed out because they didn't want to be "responsible" for injuries....

Caleb has a bounce house. it is 9x9 and 7 ft tall. it inflates in about 30 seconds. he has a blast in it, and usually coughs like crazy the whole time he is jumping.. works great too if you do it before bedtime, wears them out and they go to sleep great

Found one - seems like all the stores have the same model. I'm a little worried that it has detachable legs (that don't look too sturdy), so I'll have to take a look at in the store. It is fairly cheap though, so it can't hurt to try. Thanks for the help!

I just got a trampoline at http://reboundair.com Mine came with a great workout video and weighted gloves *either one pound or three* I think it is great therapy for the mind and body and this is the only form of exercise that alows the lymphatic systmem to operate more efficiently. Just be careful and do not operate if you are tired. Shop around on amazon.

I am actually sleeping better. The literature states it is good for digestion amoung thirty or so other things.

very inexpensive investment and great for the health.

before my daughter got approved for the vest the trampoline was how we got cpt. she still to this day uses it daily(if iti sn't raining) she can cough up more after a 10-20 minute work out. i highly recommend one. start slow it can make you pretty sore.

those small trampolines make me sad. they are so useless [sorry!]. i used to do trampoline lessons when i was little [on a REAL trampoline] and i had a ball! it was great. but there is no way i could have got the same amount of exercise out of a small trampoline thats for sure. takes real effort to get going on the big ones. for the folks who have enough space you should consider buying one and for those who dont maybe find some sort of trampoline club somewhere and work something out with them.
