When did you notice pressure...

Hey ladies.... I am one week shy of being 5 months pregnant, and I was just wondering when you started to feel the pressure on your lungs of the baby and everything pushing its way up? For the past few nights, I notice that my usual position on the couch (laying on my back) causes me to feel pressure and have sharp occasional pains under my ribs.. it almost feels like gas pains but its right under my ribs near my breast. I know eventually everything pushes up and causes some uncomfort, but I thought it wasnt supposed to happen for another month or 2 (until you really are bigger from the baby..)

Oh and I'm now feeling the baby kicking in there and moving around.... just started a few nights ago! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

around 6 months.
things are starting to get squished for you now, so it very well could be gas pains you are feeling. lungs get squished, intestines...pretty much everything. regardless of cf, this is the time during preg where you will get wierd pains in your torso. nerves are going to shift, and can get pinched too.
my biggest complaint was not getting into a comfy position while laying down. try the preg pillows-you can get some at babiesrus.

oh that's what i have been waiting for!! to feel the baby kick! i'm 4 months, i have noticed though that some positions are more comfortable than others. i notice it more in bed. i'm more comfortable with my head elevated laying on my back which is werid cause i thought that would be the least comfortable position. but as far as knowing when to feel more pressure on our lungs i have no idea. you may just not know it and the baby is moving around. my mom said that when she was pregnant with me i used to like to recline and shove my legs up into her rib cage. she would push me down and i would go right back. maybe thats it?

I had shortness of breath by 5 months. My belly was BIG, I showed early and at the end was even asked a few times if I was carrying twins.
