when i cough, i can feel my picc line

That happened a lot to me too. Sometimes the nurses would give me a hot pack to use right on the sore area. Try that. You should also try and not use the arm your picc is in to try and reserve it's energy or whatever. The less you use that arm for heavy/major things the longer the picc can go without getting sore. I know....piccs can be such a pain! After enough of those you'll start to want a port so you don't feel a thing. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
