I don't either. I'm confused about the "Image url" and the other extra stuff like the "image list" and all the sizing. What the heck? The last time I posted pics it wasn't this difficult. I use photobucket but that doesn't work for any of the links?? I have a macbook pro. Is there something else I can do...

Where you have your images hosted, go there and right click on the image. Select "copy image URL" then paste that URL in the add photo dialogue box here on the forum. You can also specify a size so it's not too big. I think I made mine 300x300.

Anyway...I made this TACO DIPlast week. It's not really high carbs or anything special. Only a tasty snack! It's very easy to make. No cooking required. Only mixing and chopping. The size dish I used is about the size of a dinner plate.

TACO DIP RECIPE:

1 (8ounce) Package Cream Cheese
1 (8ounce) Package sour cream
1/2 Package Taco Seasoning Mix (Package comes in 1.25 ounces)
1 Pre-Packaged shredded lettuce (I don't use the whole package. I spread desired amount)
1/2 cup shredded Cheese
1 or 2 chopped tomatoes (depending on how much tomato topping you want)

Directions

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread this mixture in a 9-inch (or a little larger) round serving dish. Top the mixture with lettuce, Cheddar cheese & tomatoes. Serve with tortilla chips.

This is also a great dish for any kind of party. To Make a bigger serving just double the recipe ingredients.

Amber, That looks so good! I am a huge fan of nachos of all sorts and that recipe is right up my alley. (My standard late-night snack is to spread chips on a plate, cover with chunks of cheddar cheese and slices of pickled jalapeno, then pop in microwave until cheese is melted.)Here is tonight's Curry Chicken and Broccoli Rabe.

The chicken recipe is from the packets above (Whole Foods $3).
The broccoli rabe I make by coating a cookie sheet with olive oil, spreading the broccoli on the sheet, baking until the stalks are tender and some leaves are crispy. I take the pan out after some time (Precise, eh? This is how I cook, it's a miracle things turn out decent), and flip the broccoli to get both sides coated in oil. Sprinkle with salt.

I thought I would resurrect this happy thread with some pictures of my homegrown, homemade nice-n-salty pickled cukes and jalapenos.
I got a new recipe for pickles out of the New York Times Magazine from this past Sunday. (Usually, I wing it with vinegar, salt, sugar and herbs.) I doubled the recipe to create this amount of liquid (two big jars and three small). I don't boil the jars and seal in the traditional canning method because I refrigerate them in my basement fridge (rather than store them on shelves like my grandmother did). She used to make pickled watermelon rind. I have GOT to do that soon. I remember it well.http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/08/magazine/pepper-vodka-pickles-on-the-side.html?_r=1&ref=magazine
(No, I didn't make the vodka, but the article makes the whole ritual sound wonderful.)

The funny yellow/white things next to the jars are "lemon cucumbers." I accidentally bought that type of cucumber plant at Home Depot this spring and am very happy that I did. They are delicious.

Important edit: There is way too much sugar in this recipe. Halve the sugar!!
