Yoga means union of our body. This is one type of exercise. Yoga encourages the union of mind, body, and spirit. Yoga is a physical discipline; it uses the body and breathing to develop self-awareness and mental clarity.<br><br><a target="_blank" title="Generic Viagra" href="http://www.trustmydrugs.com">Generic Viagra</a><br><br><a target="_blank" title="Buy Kamagra Oral Jelly Online " href="http://www.trustmydrugs.com/kamagra-oral-jelly.aspx">Buy Kamagra Oral Jelly Online</a> <br>

Yoga is greeaaaaaat for breathing and relaxation. It may just be my experience but I am willing to bet it helps lung function and breathing in people with CF. I would probably avoid hot yoga(heated room) though, because of the heat and moisture in there. I used to do hot yoga, then it dawned on me that the environment probably creates a breeding ground for bacteria that can get into my lungs... Just my opinion.

My physiotherapist suggested hatha yoga and also gave me a DVD. I practised Yoga a few years ago in the gym and it was kinda cool. I think ill check out the dvd of hatha yoga right now!

Hatha yoga looks good but its tooooo slow in my opinion! I think i might like a more active kind of yoga and exercise in general! But in spite of that hatha yoga seems to have very good positions/exercises for the lungs! Just my 2 cents here!

I really enjoy yoga.

The stretching moves your chest and ribs in ways they usually wouldn't. Some of the stretches hit my lungs in such a way, I do them during my hypertonic saline now.

I also like that my yoga instructor is very understanding that some of us go at different paces.

I've done Bikram yoga with my girlfriend, usually I can't take the heat but this is different and it does help.

Yoga exercises guides tell us that Yoga exercises, as we all know, is targeted to bring all the brain, our bodies, and the soul. Yogis view that the brain and our bodies are one, and that if it is given the right yoga kit and resources and taken to the right atmosphere, it can find balance and cure itself. Yoga exercises therefore is considered healing. It allows you become more aware of your position, positioning and styles of activity. It makes our bodies more versatile and allows you rest even in the middle of a stress troubled atmosphere. This is one of the major reasons why people want to start Exercising Yoga exercises - to feel stronger, be more dynamic, be more happy and peaceful.

I recently started taking Yoga classes and I feel amazing afterwards. I have noticed that the positions are great for postural drainage and I've noticed a positive difference in the way I have been breathing. I am looking forward to my doctors appointment this Friday, I'm hoping that I'll see my FEV1 stable or have even an improvement in my lung function due to my recent love for yoga. Cross your fingers for me!
