Kate got her vest at 18 months, as her chest circumference was big enough. I bugged and bugged about the vest. She loves it! We got a SmartVest and I love it!! It is really easy to use and covenient. I've worked with "the vest" and I much prefer the one hose system. Good luck! Kim
