A little OT but we love Colorado. We were inches away from moving there when we learned of Cale's CF and decided we couldn't leave our insurance obviously. And our families wouldn't have forgiven us for leaving. But at least we get to travel there once in a while! (It's the snow skiing we enjoy...
To the Anon poster looking for a guy with no baggage...HA!
All day I smiled about our story and was remembering how we would talk EVERY night after work. How we flirted in front of everyone and they thought we had something going on...and we didn't. How just seeing him would make me smile. How...
Julie this is the first time I visited your site. It looks great! Hopefully in 20-25 years, you can post Cale's success story! His birthday is also October 27!
Seeing Allan and Jessica's story on how they met made me think of my own relationship with my husband and how we met. I love to hear stories like that and thought maybe it would be a nice light hearted topic during such a sad CF time.
So here's our little how we met story...

That is great news Christi!! Thanks for keeping us posted. I truly think about people and families on this board a lot! It is so wonderful to hear good news!
It's Margaret and Todd's unborn baby. They have a warrant for his arrest and he fled. Jess/Tess has had her issue revealed and Vikki knows. Antonio and Nash are 'fighting' over her. I haven't been able to focus on it lately. I know there's a lot more going on but I've had too many kids here to...
I make it when I can. Lately it hasn't been at all. Way too busy with more daycare kids. I went from one to 5 in a week. Plus my night job now. I just got home and am trying to wind down. *yawn*
*lol* Fred!
We spent the evening door knocking. Cale got the hang of it quite well. Then we came back to our house for a nice campfire with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and doritos. It was a very fun evening. We have way too much candy but that is to be expected! Glad I skipped work!!
My attire consists of the tired and worn out mom. yoga pants, an orange t-shirt and a pony tail with bags under my eyes. (pssst...I called into my evening job and told them I couldn't make it in tonight...can't believe they sceduled me on Halloween...my kids are always first...)
ALWAYS a bad idea? Hmmmmm. I'm also a retail marketing major and I don't remember that part of my studies. There are a lot of considerations in naming a business. Creativity is just one aspect along with many others.
Congratulations on Ashton's arrival. There's nothing more exciting and exhausting than a newborn! I'll bet he's a pretty tough little guy already. Make sure you're resting yourself so when he comes home you'll be ready for anything he hands you! <img src="i/expressions/angel_ani.gif" border="0">
