I coughed up a fair amt of blood earlier today (maybe 1/4c?) not a lot for some of you, I know.. and it went away. Yes it was pure blood. Tonight I laid down and felt the familiar gurgle and went and...

    School Attendance

It sounds like her mother is doing a huge disservice by keeping her home. If she is not acutely ill, there is no reason for her to stay home. Everyone is tired some days, and many of us cough EVERY SINGLE DAY but that isn't an excuse to stay home. Her inactivity, in the long run, might even...

Do you think Dr's should be at their patients funerals?

When I attended a close friend's funeral, there were many, many of our caregivers there. I was not suprised in the least - he was an amazing person and touched a lot of people's lives. It was nice to see my own doctor there, giving him his final gesture of care, however, had he not been there...

    PFT's

I do them every time I go to the doc, which can be anywhere from every 2 weeks, to 2-3 months. I only mind doing them when I'm feeling really sick and doing them makes me pass out. (I literally passed out once) but even then I like to do at least 1 to know my numbers.
