    Input

I just wanted to agree with what heather said, for me tobramycin has always only been once a day and they like me to do tobi at the same time regardless if it's my normal "on" part of the cycle

    Scar tissue in veins

There really isn't anythin you can do about scar tissue, it's what forced me to get a port when they could no longer get a picc in. As far as working out that doesn't always work either, I lifted weights and played hockey and softball and still ha horrible tiny rolling veins. If you do ivs...

    Do you enjoy hospital stays?

I hate it, my docs don't make me go in unless absolutely need to, I do all my ivs at home. They end up have to give me pain meds from the beds screwing up my back, including morphine. Plus sleeping pills even to get 3-4 hrs of sleep. There's a couple times I've gotten worse in the hospital as well

Anxiety meds that DO NOT make you sleepy?

I take Buspar for anxiety and it doesn't make you sleepy. I have Ativan for major anxiety attacks but that will put you out. Havoc mentioned Trazadone but that's a sleepy pill. I love Buspar though and for me it started working the first day I took it.

    Bloated stomach issues :(

I've found that the times I get bloated like that they have me take miralax for a couple of days and it helps. Now I take it once a day just to keep everything moving and comfortable.

    School & Getting sick

I feel the same way Anna does, growing up I got sick like every other kid sometimes worse but my parents let me grow up as a normal kid. Up until high school we would go in early and tell my teachers about my cf so they knew what was going on. Personally I never missed. Lot of school (I think 25...
