Changes in ACT when patient is experiencing hemoptysis?

We all need to contact our own drs when we have hemoptysis, but I am curious what changes in ACT do you recommend to your patients: when the bleeding is light, bright red mixed with mucus? when the bleeding is gulpfuls but very intermittant? when the bleeding has stopped for several...

    tightness in throat...weird

Try googling vocal cord dysfunction--it mimics asthma, but is more of an issue with inhalation rather than exhalation. It can be caused/aggravated by reflux, stress, hard-sports...maybe cold too, I don't know. Just a thought.

OMG SO Frustrated with Preg Tests!!!

I am sorry that you have been on such a roller coaster and that your test results are now negative. ((HUGS)) I spotted during all my pregnancies (four), but #3 involved slow rising HCG, a low heart rate at 7 weeks, followed by no heartbeat at 9 weeks. Dragging out the hope/worry was no fun...

    Confused about Careers

From a health perspective only, the best jobs for me would be on a nice salty beach (life guard, boat rental), second best would be in the woods (conservationalist, park ranger). My lungs feel good outside and the forced exercise would be a blessing.
