I am also nursing my ds who is 4 months. He didn't have a good latch until we put him on zantac to help his enzymes work better and then he started sucking harder and better. I am also having a problem with supply it goes up and down. I eat oatmeal and take fenugreek pills and drink mother's...

My ds was born in the 95% and now at 3 months is at the 13%. He obviously needs added calories to the breastmilk that he is receiving. The cf center that we have been going to has really pushed to fortify my breastmilk with formula. I have tried almost every formula including: enfamil lipil...

My infant son is newly diagnosed. No one in either side of the family (my husband and mine) knew about cf. I have to say that I am glad that my family has been so supportive and wants to learn about cf and the new lifestyle changes that we are making. I am thankful for my father and his new...

Sorry if this is TMI but we have been trying for almost 3 months to get my DS malabsorption problem taken care of. He started out with green foamy stools when he was diagnosed and it changed to loose orange oily stools with enzymes (creon 6,000). He has reached his max on enzymes so now he has...

I have found a little medibottle device from my local walmart and babiesrus. It holds the vitamins with 1/2 oz of breastmilk and sometimes the salt and then I feed it to DS before a full bottle. That way I know he is taking all of the vitamins even if he doesn't take all of his bottle.

Thanks for the info. I am so new to this and have been very overwhelmed. I am trying to do the best for my son because he has had so many problems. He was born 9lbs 8oz and dropped within a week to 8lbs 10oz and then stayed there until we were able to diagnose him and get him on enzymes. He...

Jessica - Thank you for bringing me back to "exposure to to germs can actually help" I switched to more gentler household products when my daughter was born. I already use vinegar to clean floors and toys - but I would have never thought to put lemon in it, thank you. I also changed the...
