    Is a decline inevitable?

Hey guys hope you're all doing good! I have a question that's been on my mind lately about natural deterioration in CF. Excuse the seriousness/slight morbidity but I am curious. I am 24 years old, I am very compliant with treatments, I try to run 5 days a week and my FEV1 is stable & always high...

    Hospital IV's vs. home I'V's

Hey all, I am just wondering your experience with home IV's vs. hospital IV's. I have been on a couple of courses of home IV's the last few months and they just don't seem to be working so well anymore. I am still pretty symptomatic by the time I finish them, especially with pleurisy pain that...

how long do you give oral antibiotics before you give up?

I usually take cipro for 2 weeks, & sometimes even the 2 weeks doesn't cut it. Then I know it's IV time. Everyone responds to antibiotics differently but I usually wouldn't see an improvement after only a week on orals so I would continue to take them. But your daughter knows how she feels...

    Sinus Rinse

Thank you guys for your replies! I do agree with the suggestion of getting a lot of rest. I can't help but rest while on IV's anyhow so now I won't feel so bad :) And the hobby suggestion is great thank you. I love to write songs so I hope to get a nice few written in the next couple weeks...

    Experience with IV antibiotic Meropenem

Sorry to hear the trouble you're experiencing with this antibiotic :( I experience the exact same symptoms as you've described when I'm on Meropenum IV.
