Is it safe to take diuretics and vasodilators? Would the doctors disapprove?
Taking any kind of medication when you don't need it and/or it is not legally prescribed by YOUR doctor is not a smart thing to do, especially for someone that has CF. Diuretics can mess up electrolytes like potassium and sodium which can cause a person's blood pressure to drop dangerously...
