actually you shouldnt be adding the room temperature milk to the cold milk. Here is a handy guide I have on milk storage etc.
well it didnt line up right but I think you can tell anyway. YOu will find variation on these rules, these are form my LC's. ONe mod on your idea (great idea btw) is to leave pump and bottle attached but then when you go pump next take that bottle off put a cap on it, put a new bottle on and do it that way, then next time you go to use it the contents of two can be combined and use other bottle to pump into (this way only two bottles in use at a time so not much extra work) dont know if I described this properly.

Breast Milk Rules
Do not store bottles with nipples attached
Thaw slowly in refrigerator or in warm water (not hot & not from microwave)
Do not thaw at room temperature
Warm only enough to take chill off the milk
Do not leave milk at room temperature more than 1 hour after warming
Milk may be reheated for next feeding if not at room temp more than an hour or discard
Do not refreeze milk
Do not store milk in door of fridge or freezer, store as far back as possible
