Where did CF come from?
quite honestly i think evolution is big load of crap based on outdated information as well as carbon dating, but that is a different topic. cf somewhat fits the definition of evolution but not entirely, cf is a bad thing, for it to be evolution it would have to be a good thing, duh! (also there are no examples of true evolution that have been proven, just speculated, everything is examples of mutations) I don't mean to offend anyone but thats just the way it is. cf is caused by the mutation, not evolution, of a gene in the dna strand which produces proteins that don't work right causing mucus to be sticky and viscus which causes all the problems of cf, plugged up pancreas causing digestive issues, because the mucus is too thick and sticky it gets stuck in the lungs, etc. It probably came from several different people at different times (hence the different mutations, delta 508 for example) these people are carriers and then had children and passed that mutation down who had children and passed it down, and then when two people that both have one of these lovely mutations have children there is a one in four chance that that child has cf, beyond that you get into punnet squares and things like that and it gets difficult to explain in a forum. If you want more details/argue with me about evolution, send me a private message. I would be more than happy to discuss either topic with anyone. I'm not on much so be patiant waiting for a response.
