Hi everyone,

Well, three months ago I gave birth to my sweet little boy. It has really been quite a rollercoaster ride to go from one baby to two babies.

Gavin was a colicky baby and has reflux pretty bad. We have an appointment with the peds gastro in a couple weeks, but he has improved so much in the past couple weeks we may decide not to go. He is taking Prevacid and on prescription formula. He is now smiling, rolling over both ways, grabbing things, and starting to laugh. He is such a joy (now)! It was very difficult for us to bond with him in the beginning because of his constant screaming. I think we're not really able to see his personality and realize what a sweet baby he really is. He is still getting up every 4 hrs at night to eat - that's the only thing I'm wondering, when will he sleep through the night! Landon (my older son) was sleeping through the night without feedings very, very early on.

As for me, I am finally feeling like myself again. I'm dealing with the postpartum hair loss thing right now and I'm wonering if I'm going to have any hair left after it's said and done But I know it's normal. I had a clinic appointment a month ago and my PFT's went back to normal. I had lost 25% of my lung function after giving birth and I have regained all of it back now. I also gained back all my 27 lbs that I lost after giving birth as well. I was never really afraid that I wouldn't get back to baseline because I knew it was just pure exhaustion causing everything. I went back to work full time over a month ago and I'm also back in school for my master's. We are also in the process of looking for a house. I sometimes feel like I have a lot on my plate, but I'm managing somehow!

So now our family is complete and I couldn't be a happier person. I am so happy that I went through the entire experience and I look forward to watching my little muchkins grow. I really don't know how anybody has more than two kids! I tell everyone that has more than two kids that they are absolutely nuts I know it will continue to get easier in time.

Love the pic! Those boys are adorable. I'm glad things are calming down some. I hope the night feedings slow down for you soon. I'm excited for you guys on the house hunting. Good luck.

Apparently about 3-4 months after you give birth you lose all the hair that you grew while you were pregnant. I guess the estrogen when you're pregnant makes your hair really thick and full and then it all falls out after your estrogen returns to normal.
