4th of July and Fireworks

My son is very young, but I'm already starting to think that we need to change our normal 4th of July plans. We have in the past spent it at my inlaws....But, the neighborhood is a "WAR ZONE" of smoke all day on the 4th...Any advise? As far as the future...Do you let your children join in the fun of fireworks that have CF? I can't imagine my husband not teaching our son about fireworks...Thanks for your help..

We do the "poppies" which do not smoke, the smoke bombs are ones that my husband does and throws in the yard so they are not by any of us. As far as the displays we always go to the nearby town and watch the local Fire Dept. put on a big show. I think it is okay to let your child be with their friends doing this but she tell them to try to stay away from the smoke as much as possible.

Just because they have CF doesn't mean they still don't want to do normal, fun kid things. I would just make sure that they get a good treatment that night after being around the smoke. Hope this helps.
