ok so i know the answer to this but i'm going to ask anyways. when you are counting the days in your cycle, once you get your period do you count from the end of it or the beginning of your period to count the days in between. my brain isn't working right right now.

Your cycle is from the first day of your period until the last day before your period starts again. If you spot before your period that doesn't count as day 1, day 1 is when your period fully starts. HTH.

ok so here's the reason i ask. i've always been regular. i switched bc two months ago. i got my normal period the first month of the switch. then two weeks after that i got my period again. that was the last day of feb. i started iv's on the 27th of feb. my period lasted a day or two longer than it usually does. i haven't gotten a period yet. i feel like i have something going on in that department and i have talked to my mom and she says it sounds like a yeast infection. i treated for one and it doesn't seem to have made a difference. has anyone else had this? or am i just plum werid. the bc that i switched to is one that i was on about 4 years ago.

Hi Candice,
When I get a yeast infection I have to use strong meds to get rid of it especially if I am still on iv's at the time.
I use the seven day cream (monistat) and use two pills also.
If I dont do all that then it does not go away or if it does it comes back after the treatment.
Having said that, it can be possible to have a bacterial infection and not a yeast infection. The symptoms can be very similiar. Not knowing what your symptoms are I cant be of much help. Just thought I would give my opinions.
HTH!
oh and by the way either of those infections should not delay your period. It might just be the change of b/c's, or with some women a yeast infection is a sign of pregnancy.
