a sad day

about 2 weeks ago, this guy that i have went 2 school with since K-garden died. I graduated this year by the way. Well he did not have CF, he was killed in a wreck. i always thought that i would be the first in my class 2 die since i have CF. he was a very good friend 2 me and he had a lot of friends. i know every time someone dies, they talk about how great they were, but he really was. he would have turned 18 September 1st. this made me realize that anyone can die young and at least i know that i may die young, so i can live life to the fullest. I just wanted 2 tell this, b/c it is very sad 2 me and i really really miss him. and now i see that having CF is not the end of the world.

I have cf also. I was diagnosed at 23 years old. I'm sorry about your friend. I had a friend die at that age too. Life is very short, and that's why we should try to make a difference in this world while we're here. I teach Sunday School at my church to pre-teens. I hear stories and see things that I can't believe. Although I did go through a time of rebellion in my life, the things young people have to face now is awful. I will pray that God will give you comfort and peace during this time. Don't ever give up. God is with us when no one else is. Good luck!
