A struggling CF family

I know many of us are in financially tough situations, but I feel compelled to post this information here, in hopes that maybe all of us can contribute just a little (imagine if 500 of us donated $2 each!), or others can contribute a little more (imagine just 100 donating $20!). This is a family I met online a few years ago, during my quest to have a family with my husband Mark.

LeAndra, and her husband Jeremy opened up about some of the most personal things one could ever share. They gave me hope that we would some day be parents. Although I have never met them in person, I have shared so many email conversations and pictures with them.

I've given LeAndra the typical information I pass onto others who are struggling financially in relation to CF-organizations that are specifically FOR families of CFers, BY families of CFers. However, this family is just having a hard time financially due to LeAndra taking signifigant time off to care for her husband, and in spite of the assistance that *might* be available from these resources, they still need some assistance.

She fears his time is drawing near, and would like to make sure that through all of this, her 13 year old daughter and 4.5 year old twin boys are taken care of.

I know I'm poorer than poor right now. But I've scrounged up some change I've been saving for a rainy day and I've got about $10 to send her. I know it's not much, but imagine if all of su gave a little.

My family doesn't know this family, but you can guarantee that they will be hearing about their story. Even $1 can make a difference. So if you can find 4 quarters around your house, please consider this family as a recipient.

Here is some more information on their caring bridge website: http://www.caringbridge.org/cb...do?method=executeInit

and Karen and Allie, I don't mean to put the two of you on the spot, but if you have some time for this woman, I know she would be overjoyed to hear from you. She is struggling and I am at a loss as to how to help her.

Sorry you guys, I tried to send you the page that "tells their story" but it didn't seem to work. here is his site that his wife put together,

http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jeremyadams
Then you can go to "my story" and learn a little about them, as well as the paypal account where you can send money to. If you don't feel comfortable with paypal, LeAndra left her email for anyone who would like to help out in another way (maybe paying directly towards a bill???, just an idea), and for anyone (allie and Karen) who can offer some advice/support through this all.

Thanks you guys. I'm sending over $10, and collecting a bit from my family. If you could just pass this around, I want to make sure the kids are taken care of during this rough time.
